Sen. Pat Jehlen, sponsors of Equal Pay Bill aim to close wage gap

Wicked Local Medford -- Report that legislation to close the gender wage gap filed in the House by Representative Livingstone and in the Senate by Senator Pat Jehlan was favorably reported out of the Labor and Workforce Development Committee. “As we’ve heard here today, closing the gender wage gap has been a long time coming, and we need to fight until every worker in the Commonwealth is compensated for the work that they do,” said Livingstone. “Massachusetts should lead the way for Equal Pay.” Read the story.
