A little less money, but vote maintains formula for housing, Magazine Beach (update)

Cambridge Day -- Report Cambridge City Council funding repairs at Magazine Beach. Rep. Livingstone attended the City Council hearing and advocated for the funding with local residents, including Cathie Zusy. "The councillors’ vote at Magazine Beach means that the state Department of Conservation and Recreation will kick in another $100,000, state Rep. Jay Livingstone said at Monday’s meeting. The department has yet to say if it will match the $13,000 raised by individual donors to reclaim the 15-acre riverside park." Read the story.
